I took apart the carb in my '84 Big Red ES, cleaned it and put it all back together but can't figure out how to get that darned spring to install properly on the choke lever.

PLEASE, any ideas on how to get this thing on right would be appreciated!!!!!

 

i know how to do it because it happened to me but its hard to explain on here. and i dont know how to send pictures. the spring goes in its spot but the one end goes in front of the screw hole on carb and other goes in the plastic peice
