does anyone kno were i can get a white plastic tank like they had on the racers back in the day??

 

Ok I think who ever replys to your questions should get 5 bucks a question!!! LOL just kidding. You can get a PLASTIC one on ebay... I dont know what the old racers are like, but the ones on ebay look pretty nice. They are 150 plus shipping... I THINK you can get them in white!!!

Your looking for a short track tank, it is a very rare tank and you will prbably have trouble finding one, but do some looking on Ebay and you might find one.

Hey the plastic tanks were not that different but it was the low profile rear fenders and the 85/86 250R front fender is what made the look. They also droped the suspension for TT racing, trust me I raced them back in the day at the local tracks and have been thinking about getting one for a project again.

 

Where can you get a tank like that now? All the plastic tanks I have seen for them are AWFUL!!! They are really big and bulky... They are not the race kind. Dalton asked about where you can get a race type plastic gas tank a while ago.

Also I have a question about the gastank repair. My tank has several pinholes in places and do not know where they are. How would I go about fixing them with jb weld?

 

yea i knew about the plastic and stuff and i alredy have all that and lowered and all .....but i just found a few pholes in my tank last time we went rifing and i sanded down the paint off the bottom and opend hem all up then we used like industrial jb weld and it seems 2 be fine...idk if that will help........we also treid 2 weld it (lol not good idea) so it was alitle ruff sround some of the holes....so maby the jb stuck better 2 the rough surface....i dont know just thought ide try and help
