I am thinking of purchasing a 83 ATC110 but would like some shocks in front. Can you put a suspension fork from lets say a ATC 200 or some other model on a ATC110 so the fork is not so rigid/stiff? Anyone done this before?? If the geometry is close enough it seems possible.

You can do anything with enough $$$$$.

 

you need to seal the whole front end off an 83 or later suspended 185 or 200 or the entire front end from a 125M they will both bolt on with a little work. Make sure your cables / wiring are the right length after the modification though

 

125m's did not have suspension on them... well at least my two that I had did not have any on it. Nor do any other 125's I have seen...

right now i have worse problems : like stripped threads where the spark plug goes

 

The 1986-87 125m's had front suspension.

 

take the head off, go to a machine shop and get the spark plug hole resized to 14mm from 12mm, then select the proper length of NKG plug, reassemble and your good to go.
