What kind of rear shock would be recommended for a 215 pound person on a '85 250r. I ride trails and corn fields a lot, with little 2 foot jumps is all. I think the stock one finally took a dump, as it compresses down fine, but rebounds up really fast and tops out. (sorry 'bout the lack of technical terms, cant think of them) Would it be better to just rebuild the existing stock shock, or by an aftermarket one. Which would be cheaper and better investment.
Thanks

Have you messed with the **** on the reservoir? Try turning it all the way in and then all the way out. That may help.

Most of the time it is cheaper to rebuild the stock shock. Most people dont need the high dollar aftermarket units. I cant remember exactly, but I think the last shock I had rebuilt was $125.
