Will rear shock from a trx250r or 400ex fit on a honda 1985 atc250r? I need a new rear shock real bad and dont really want to spend a lot of money here. So if anyone knows the answer to this please let me know. Also, will complete top end from a 88-89 trx250r adapt to bottom end of 85 atc250r? And if anyone has a .040 over bore or bigger piston for an 85-86 atc250r laying around new or used that you may want to get rid of let me know. Thanks.

 

Welcome to the FORUMS! Yes a trx 250r rear shock should fit, stay away from the stock 400ex shock everyone I know says it beats them up. As far as the engine I believe they will, but you need a spacer.
