dont know why the 185s is idling high, i adjusted the idle screw out and still is idling high, i dont think there are any vacume leaks between the carb and head? any suggestions?

 

Check the throttle cable. If it is pinched or there is tension on the cable it could be "idling high" because the slide is open a bit. If that's not it take off the carb and check it out completely. Once I found that an o-ring between the carb and intake was missing on a 200x. This was causing me some trouble with the idle. I'd check everything while I had it out. (needle position, main jet, pilot jet, pilot screw, float...)
