i have 85' 250es bigred need to know what parts i need so reverse can work no left brake lever with attachment any help would be helpful thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

Should be REAl easy to find that on E-Bay. 250sx is the same part a well. The little red button can be bought at your dealer for $3 so don't get caught buying one on e-bay for $10-15. There is a cable as well for that lever that attaches to your trans through your side case, if you don't have that connected, might be a biotch to hook up but I doubt it.

i don't see where the reverse cable goes on transmission , also it has a kein carb can that be changed to a mikuni thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I will double check where cable goes but I know there are 2 cales coming out of the left handset. As fara s carb goes, stick with stock. These are not very powerfull machines so changing carbs will do nothing for you except drain your wallet.

 

i'm asuming two cables 1 for brake 1 for choke someone said 1 for reverse ,, on microfich it shows 3 cables, which would make sense, also i probly will stick with kein carb just need to get side cover and maybe rebuild kit , i found 1 for$ 24.00 wich includes everything some other little parts but its just a hobby thanks again.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]gotto spend money somewhere before it goes into snowmobile again.
