still trying to get to the bearings, axel still wont budge, so how do i get the brakes off, is there a speacial tool , or spot on the unit that i need to move a little to let the brake hub slip off, or does the axel have to come out to get to the brakes ????, i am begining to think the only way to fix my problem is to get a new front fork and use the new axel i got off ebay... anyone got any ideas, i guess i could cut the shock off of the axel and salvage the brake hub that way ??

is it the front brakes if so it should be a pice of cake on mine all i did was take the tire compleatly off the body and and just pull it off if yours is froze up take like a chizel and a hammer and tap around the edges then really get in there than it shoul break it loose get some wd40 to make it eassier as for the bake brakes jake the back end up then take the right tire or both of the tires of manley the right one if you want to get the brakes off then undo all the bolts that are olding the plate on than the plate will come off then as for the axel nuts there should be 2 take them both off than it will slide off than on the other side of the brakes undo the clamp or something like that and pull it off and then pull the hole brake system off and you should be good to go

I had the same problem with my 85 200S apparently the bearing went bad and previous owner kept riding which galded the axle to the front forks, I tried drilling the axle out and that did not work, thought that if I drilled it I might be able to twist the axle off, well that did not work either, I replaced front fork assy with non suspension unit off of 1984 125M.
