My 185s was drinking oil, tore it down and the found the top ring was broke. Ordered a .5 mm over piston off ebay, came with no piston to cylinder wall clearance specs. My manual says .004 inches. My machinist thinks this is too much. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, Nate

 

The service limit is .004, but brand new from the factory is .0006" - .0022".
