Default 1985 350X

Used to have 3 wheelers as a kid, moved to quads for quite some time but now I got the urge to go back to the atc's. Found one local, http://orlando.craigslist.org/rvs/1081399115.html Its a little on the pricey side but theres not many of them down here in FL that i can find in decent shape, been reading your guy's posts a few pages back but haven't heard a ton about the 350X's. What do you guys think about em?

They're nice and have the good Honda engineering and reliability, plus they're 4 stroke and decently fast. I personally like the look of the Tri-Z better, but parts are easier to find for the Honda, plus you don't have to worry about mixing oil/fuel and fouling spark plugs. For comparison, around here in NC, the nicer 350X's are going for $1500 - $2200. It's hard to find a nice one for a good deal anymore. I guess they're getting harder and harder to find, which drives the price up.

my son rides my 350x i gave him when i got my 250R ... TONS of torque i liked it when i had it but rebuilding my air cooled 2stroke ... lot easier to work on less moving parts and HAULS ***... so its pretty up to personal choice i like both

well I've still been searching for the 350x and cant really find one decently priced, I did find an awesome deal on a '85 200x for only $450 ready to go. Ive never riden the 200x is it a real lack of power compared to the 350x? I don't wanna waste my money on the 200x but its a pretty good deal if the 200x has a decent amount of power. Could put a high comp wiseco in there later and maybe do a port polish job to get a little more power

yes the 200x is going to have nowhere near the amount of torque of the 350x, I will say though with some work you can make a 200x a fairly rev happy scoot.

I have a 1985 350x, I have owned this bike for about 10 years or so and I love it. It has been the most dependable bike I have ever owned and it goes great in sand and in the mountains.
