So I have a 79 honda 110 and the guy I bought it from said it needed a stator. Checked resistance between black wire and the stator body, showed up around 4 ohms. Ok its shot. Bought one on ebay and got the same number. The guy was really cool and refunded my money but when he checked his other two stators they only registered around 20 ohms. Are these stators the Achilles heel to this bike or what? Anyone know of a reliable and reasonably priced supplier? Thanks.
