Default help! desperate!

Picked up a third stator from ebay. Guy said it came off a running '79 110. Put everything on and still no spark. New coil, plug, points, condenser, and still nothing. When I check the resistance from black wire to the stator it reads about 20 ohms. Do I measure to the ring of the stator or to the magnet in the middle?

Think this would help better than throwing parts at it. Should pay for itself just in diagnosis.http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAYNES-SERVICE-MANUAL-M0565-HONDA-ATC70-1973-ATC110-1979-ATC185-1980-ATC200-1981-/370533510298?hash=item564584ac9a&vxp=mtr

Ok so after some rewiring and timing and gap adjustments I have voltage at the the end of the spark plug wire. Whats a good way to test if the spark plug is arcing? Also, when I pull the rope it still doesnt kick off. There is gas spitting out the carb so there is gas flowing. Anyone know how to adjust the valves on the 1979 Honda 110?

Plenty of videos on you tube on the 110. See if this helps.
Plus after you set the valves check the compression.

The book is definatly worth the money, I have a couple including the one pictured above. Has everything you ever need to know in it. As far as the valve adjustment goes, its as easy as it gets, look up the gap, which is .003 inches I believe. And pull the covers off, losen the nut, turn the set screw til you have the right gap, and tighten the nut back down.
