Buddies ATC 250R with CT Racing 350 Powervalve is awesome!

And downright scary to stop! He just got his 86 ATC 250R w/ the CT racing 350 Powervalve motor running(the same motor that is on the front page of ATV connection, check it out.) It is scary fast and has made me reconsider getting a trike and building it up, maybe just a pipe and stuff. Anyhow, This thing completely rips and only lost to a banshee running alcohol by a quad or two, but was catching him in 6th till he had to shut it down. the power is not the problem, but the stopping is where the rush would come in. It would bounce around and just looked generally unstable when stopping. I will be posting some pics when they get back, it is one BAAADD machine...

Good question! they only went with a 2 inch extension on the swig arm, which I told them was not enough, so now they have a 6 inch chromed Lonestar on the way. Yea, after seeing this machine in action, I know I will never putthat kind of power into a trike. Just too hard to get stopped and control in the case of a mishap...

Yes, that is a fence around the "house" in the picture. No nobody lives there. Its actually an old ranch from the early 1900's has been fenced off to keep people from tearing it down for firewood,(idiots!!!) Pretty cool huh...
As far as mountains, we have both the Rocky mountains, in southern Wy, and in the Yellowstone area. For the most part though, Wyoming ius a "desert plane". Rock springs has a huge "desert" around 40,000 acres of sand, but "only" 11,000 acres that can be "legally" ridden... this is true sand, much like youd find in Glamis,Ca or some of the other big sand playgrounds... Yo should check it out sometime...

Yea, Id do the same, problem is, it is actually his dads trike, but he never rides it, but wants to keep it in the ATC frame. I would post some pics, but they did not come out!!! Pisses me off! The motor is totally buffed out, looks like fresh chrome. Chrome +6 swingarm, dual Lazer lights, white plastic, and a freakin HUGE drag pipe.. This machine is so awesome looking and running, it really is a shame those pics did not come out.
