wife is expecting 1st child and jumping the gun i bought a 85 ATC110 which is not quite complete.the questions are what other years are compatible(and other models for that matter) for the ignition coil,the ignition control module, and the carburetor. thanks in advance jeff

 

All the parts that you listed will interchange on models from 1981 - 1985.

The '79-'80 models had points type ignitions and were 6 volt.

Your's ofcourse has the CDI maintenance free ignition and runs off of a 12 volt system.

The carburetor's themselves will interchange, but if you go into the body of the carburetor, some parts are different for different years and will not work into the carburetor body of some other year models. The biggest difference being that the earlier models had a metal float and the plastic one from the newer versions will not interchange.

The carburetors sold new from Honda were discontinued last year and inventory has been depleted since then for all the different year models, BUT you can still get one new that was made for the '84-'85 ATC125M. When you use this carburetor, you must also buy the choke cable for that model and make a bracket on the dash board to hold the cable. This is the only way to make do with a new carburetor. [All ATC110 chokes were operated by a lever on the side of the carburetor.

The ignition coil from the '83ATC185 and 200 will interchange on your ATC110 along with the '81-'84ATC110

The CDI off any of the '81-'85ATC110s will work on yours as will the CDI off of any 185 or 200 prior to 1984.
