Any of the CDI units from the ATC110, 185, and other 200 models will fit the 200X and work with no problems.

There are two different CDIs that fit all these models. One has a "square" shaped plugin while theother ones have a "round" shaped plugin. The older models all had the square plug, and all models eventually went to the "round" plug.

I do believe the '85 200X had the round plug. Check it to be sure and then just make a few calls to some salvage yards.

Good luck.
