A friend is looking to install his ATC 250R motor into his 400EX. Does anyone make motor mounts that bolt in or does he have to weld?
I know he probably has to weld in tabs for a radiator.

Anything else he needs to do to make it work properly?

mike, talk to east coast atv [Phone (215) 541-4985] ....i believe they have mounts for this operation. good luck. If not pull his motor and lets take a look at what it will take to mount up that 250R motor.

 

honda should be comming out with a trx400ex with a 250r engine in it within the next year

STill looking for motor mounts. I am sure he will want to sell the frame from the ATC. I'll let ya know.

 

Nitrous Boy must be talking about the service honda, 250r. Using the cr250 motor.
