I'm not sure on his prices but I do know he is less than axis & pep. He builds his own and can set them up any way you want. John is a pleasure to work with and knows his business. tell him Blackwell sent you his # is 1-336-597-5400.

PEP and Custom Axis are the most common shocks used by the top pros. But unless you ride like a pro, its probably not worth it to spend the extra money on PEP or Axis when TCS is much cheaper and basically the same shocks as Axis. Axis is a little better made, but they both use internal shim stack valving. TCS also has adjustable ride height for a low center of gravity on the TT or MX track or high ground clearence for desert, baja, or woods racing. I know a few pro racers that race PACE series and run TCS on their CT330Rs. If you go with TCS they'll probably revalve the rear and sell you new fronts. It took me about two months to get my shocks, but they were worth the wait. I got my TCS shocks through Graydon Proline.

I have noticed lately that mx and tt racers are not the only ones running low ride heighth. I know alot of XC racers are also running alot of sag on the rear shock. Gets you down lower in the washed out off-cambers. The ones that I have seen running this set-up are going very fast, and they are running Axis.

RidE, TCS, Axis, and PEP have a setup called 'zero preload'. The preload adjustments on these shocks do not adjust the preload, but instead the ride height.
