I was planning on getting a set of these wheels. Well...there not gonna be as durable as beadlocks because, of course, there not beadlocks. But I like the inner and outer reinforcement rings. That will help keep the wheels from caving after nailing hard objects. If my wife hadn't already bought me Beadlocks, I would have gone with the Baja's......

From what I heard, they're a tuff wheel. And they are lighter than beadlocks. I think it would be a good choice. Good Luck.....

The ITP Baja's are tough as hell and they are lighter than other reinforced wheels because there is no welding on the ring. I would not be afraid to give these a pounding.

I personally cannot say anything about the rims because I have never rode with them, but a good buddy of mine bought two sets of 4 rims for desert racing and he trashed all eight rims in one race..... Unless you are gonna stick with TT racing, I would stick with beadlock and/or reinforcing rings....

maybe that guy needs to learn how to avoid the big rocks....lol...
i think the baja rims have rings, they just have a rolled edge(like stock) so it makes them stronger...

I have 2 sets of them, & can't say enough good about them... they are extremely strong for as light as they are... I put a heavy stainless 1" screw every other hole in the reinforcing ring, inside & out, to "poor mans bead lock" them up... I run as low as 3 psi on one set of tires & have beat the crab out of them... never had a problem with the tires on the rims, with the beads leaking with the screws into the bead of the tire, or with the rims...
