forget it about the gray wire the yfz dosn't have
cam mod yes great mod don't borther with the yz cam both have same spec etc.... expect for the timming

I don't believe they are the exact same you will be changing the decompression mechanism a little by retarding the stocker. Not many problems with it so far though.
I have been told by a few MX riders that the cam mod only helps on the top end and hurts the bottom. The MX riders I have heard of have all put the cam back in stock position for keeping low end power.
Best way is to do it and see for yourself!
As far as a pipe, Sparks, Trinity, HMF, Yoshi, GTYR, all should be very good and very close in performance. Pick your poison!

if you want to see the difference between stock cam and cam mod see my pics there is the dyno result before and after the cam mod
and yes i forget to say the decompression pin will be a bit off but not hurting the motor ,maybe a little hard to start
