That's more expensive than D-23.... It would be different if it was a bigger track.

Also, it's a 3 hour haul for us...... That and the price pretty much takes it off my list.....

RacerDad, How much do you have to pay for the kids?

The kids pay the same as the big guys.......Ya I realize that it is kinda spendy.......But where else can you race in Minnesota this time of year? My boys just started racing last July, so we are hoping to get in some much needed practice over the winter.......So maybe they will already be tuned when next years racing starts up.......The track is small, but it actually works out very well for my boys to ride on.....

The $20 membership is a one time deal for the year. The owner works hard to put on these races, so I don't feel bad donating $20 to keep the place open. Where else can you ride in a heated dome in the winter in MN. After that it's about the same as anywhere else.
I'll be there and it's a 4 hour drive for me. I'll be the black and white Raptor in the open class. Stop by and say hi.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's great to have the Moto Dome going over the winter. I hope they do well and keep it going for many years.

Mainly, we were going just to get some track time for Ron's new quad before his trip to the Tulsa Shootout. If we planned on going more than once, then the $20 would be somewhat normal. I do think the $25 per class is high. It should be $15 for the first class and $10 for any additional classes.

As far as I know now, we don't plan to attend. There's a couple of guys farther north that may be there.

All of the races around here are $10 gate fee $20 AM entry $25 Pro-am $30 Pro. No discounts for additional classes. Also some of the small indoor races have a $20 pit stall fee. My next race is on the 20th. it will cost me:

$10 gate
$10 pit (2 riders can share a pit)
$20 ST entry
$25 ST Pro-am entry

Total of $65 not including getting there.

I guess $52 isn't bad compared to $65. Especially if we went more. To race after paying the membership fee would only be $25 per class and a $7 gate price.

So.....How did ya all do racing this weekend? We had such a great time this weekend racing.....

Saturday night Dirt Track racing my boys ran 1 and 2 in the 1st moto and 1, 2 in the Main.......... They were racing hard against each other the whole race, that was AWESOME to watch!

Sunday on the MX track they finished 1, 2 in the 1st moto and 2, 4 in the Main.......

All in all, I was very proud of them, they raced very well......Will have to give it a go again next weekend!

I took 4th in the main. I had to race the LCQ to get to the Main, but that just gave me a little more practice on the track. I like the way they have the track set up this year, but they have to change the way everyone is funnled on and off the track. I think if they move the finish line back a bit they could have everyone exit at that corner.
There were some fast riders out there. It seems the YFZ and the 250R's are the fastest quads or at least the fastest riders are on those quads. I never got out of 2nd gear.
