Default wheel spacers

I am getting my quad set up for mx, and i want to make it wider. However, i can't afford new a-arms, would wheel spacers be a suitable alternative? What are the goods and bads of them?

for mx you should definetly not get them, they will break to easy especilly in the front.

In the rear you should be ok I have run 2in spacers in the rear for over a year and I race mx and they arent even showing signs of abuse yet. Hell I just cracked my swing-arm and the spacers are still looking fine.

Now I would NOT reccomend running them in the front tho. In the rear if they break yeah it sucks but it wouldn't be quite as bad as if your fronts broke off
