banshees run 42-48 hp stock depending on year and model

 

does anybody know what the fastest atv in top speed? (stock)

it depends if you are going uphill or downhill

 

The YZ250F bike in stock form will lay waste to a z400 anyhow!

 

I went back and read an old issue of atv sport called the great 8 shoot out, this is what it says! april 2003 issue

everybody knows that the banshee will have more acceleration than a raptor so i dont think that your great 8 shootout is correct

 

I agree some what but thats what it says!
when I had my craptor I beat about half the shees I ran.

the only time I've every saw a shee dyno'ed that high was with pipes! never saw one stock do that, I've seen 32-36 depending on weather and dyno.

 

iam yet to lose to a raptor
and i have raced about 15 or 16 none were stock

 

Another thing to consider, yes the banshee is lacking 300cc, and probably some hp. But the banshee also probably weighs quite a bit less, Im not sure but that is what i usually credit them beating me towards. They are basically a drag race machine. I would say the weight has a lot to do with them being one of the fastest. Brad
