Default 1/8th mile drag

Well, how about a new update. My old time was posted with a friend driving while I had to work. With me driving the bike ran 7.60 at 86mph in the 1/8th mile and a 9.98 at 93.4 in the 1000ft, all done with only a 16 tooth sprocket change to the front. Banshees are truly amazing. Hard to believe that a 352cc bike can run that hard with a 195lb driver.

i'll agree 2 strokes are easier and cheaper to build. matter of fact i am looking for a used banshee to build just for drag racing. save the ole 4 stroke for riding! i've always rode 2 strokes and liked them. anyway, times i was wondering if ya'll would give ya'll's 60 ft as well. rw/satge2 ds650 60 ft/1.602 1/8 8.022@77 not bad for a 500lb monster!!! check out my pics page, see how700+ lbs will knot up a slick!

7.8 and 7.5 is real fast for a gas running 350 if you wanna go real fast you got to get alcohol carbs my buddie was running 7.8 like me put a set of carbs on with lock out clutch after burning 1 out first run and was running high 6's after a 1-5 overide tranny he is doing mid 6's all day with a stock, crank, frame, ignition so thats were you start mine are on the way i'll lyk what i run after carbs

we can't run alcohol due to our class restrictions( when we race on dirt), thats y our setups pretty mild.

Bad, I was running 18'' American Racing tires and my stock suspension just being lowered. I made mounting brackets to move the lower part of the front shocks out on the lower A-arms to lower the front, and use the Durablue lowering piece on the rear. The swingarm is only +4, and I have a homeade set of wheelie bars. The problem is our track hooks so hard that I have to either try to spin the tires or slip the clutch. Even with only a 16 tooth in the front I cant dump it in first gear. The bike will slam the wheeie bar and just bog down for a second. I imagine some alky or more power could overcome it, but it 's enough for me right now. The 1.58 was good, but it has done a 1.59 and a 1.60 also. The tires were aired up to 10lbs and I just happened to ride it out good.

BajaBomb, That pic of the wrinkling slick is too cool That's a damn good time for only what the bike has. Lots of grunt on the bottom end to pull those kind of 60ft times.
