I have a friend of mine that comes out riding with me all the time. He has even attended a few races. While play riding in the pits, he thought is was a little tough but really not that bad. Heck, I have him on tape at one of my races yelling “You suck!”

But a few weeks ago, he came with me to a practice track. First off, he could only take one lap because his arms started to hurt from holding on so tight for fear of the jumps. But when he did come in he could not believe how difficult it is to ride on a MX track.

Ever since that day he has nothing but respect for me and how hard it is to actually race.

 

I remember my first mx race... 14 yrs old on a blaster.. after 3 laps of hard practice i was worn out, but my race was 5 laps and i just kept the pace up and got fourth place overall. But i was tired and about to pass out. Now i gotta far from stock r and a tricked out 400ex and i luv em both faster than my blaster.
