Your on the right track by buying aluminum parts but an important thing is to reduce unsprung weight-basically your entire rear assembly (axle etc). I'd buy aluminum hubs, an aluminum sproket, an aluminum RAD LOC, and carbon fiber wheels if you could afford it.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 250R so that takes up a lot of my time. I don't have the Durablue Elimianator, I have the X-33 which is more race oriented. It weighs only 11lbs. w/ the aluminum hubs and it has an easily adjustable width that uses a bolt through the hubs instead of messing with those annoying castle nuts and spacers. I would buy it over the eliminator.......it's about $150 more than the Eliminator but worth it if you'll be MX racing. A RAD LOC replaces your stock axle nut that holds your axle into the bearing carrier. Your axle nut is all the way to the right of your brake assembly. All the RAD LOC does is reduce a slight amount of weight but more importantly it stops your axle nut from vibrating loose which happens frequently. It looks like you've already got the aftermarket a-arms and shocks so after this you should be good to go. Nice bike by the way.
