i am taking my 03 raptor to the drag strip next weekend and io am wondering what times can i expect from it. and who has some fast 1/8 or 1/4 mile times.

 

If your Raptor is stock, I would expect it would run around 9.4 sec and about 62-65 mph. My bone stock DS goes 9.2s at 69 mph.

The 4 stroke track record at Maryland International Raceway (a big East Coast track) is like 7.27. It's a Predator with a rigid drag suspension and a healthy shot of NOS.

My Craycraft 730 Raptor ran 8.3 at the same track with a long travel MX suspension, the wrong gears, and no NOS. With my new drag suspension and a little laughing gas, I will be after that record.

Drag Banshees can get into the 6s.

 

Banshees can get into the 5's.

Anyways, Daren420 sounds about right if you can make a good pass, but everyone i have seen with a stock or near stock raptor ive seen couldnt keep the front end down so it was alot slower.

 

If a banshee sees 5s, theres nothing banshee about it anymore.

 

my friend had his raptor to the track this weekend an it ran 9.02 in the 1/8 with 110 racing gas all stock NO MODS. but i will say he has *****, because when he came out of the hole he had the front tires up for about the first 30 or 40 foot.

 

wicked motorsports has a 4 mill stock cylinder on nitrous that has ran a 5.88. I now of a 350 that has ran a 6.4, so i would believe a bigger motor could go 5s

 

not a banshee frame, my point still stands.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] its impressive but take a stock frame and stock displacement, then do whatever you want to it, you can still call it a banshee but it wont do 5s. wicked whips up some pretty sweet bikes though.

 

there were three banshees at MIR saturday the fastest one ran 6.71
it was totally built $30,000 put into it. big motor with alcohol and superlight.

ubetrun- the pred has stock rear shock and blaster front shocks- and just a little nos
it runs 7's on motor with a really tall gear. And it only has $8500.00 in it to this point that includes buying the quad

 

I ran the 1/8th mile on my Banshee Friday night. With stock frame and stock shocks (yes I even had the stock rear shock on +12 swingarm) I went a best of 6.889 @ 92.86 mph on 110 octane race gas. I was running out of gear way early as I think my speed indicates. My second best was 6.995 @ 91.81 mph. I'm sure it will do better once I set the chassis up for asphalt and gear it taller. A 1-5 override would help too because the 1-2 shift is too slow compared to the override shifts.
