so friday practice i can ride on the track for $20

 

yes, but usually they only let you ride the MX section of the track.
they are usually marking the rest of the track and checking the woods trails on that day. they try to mark any dangerous spots with warning signs & such too.... low hanging trees, drop-offs, hazards, etc... they want the course to be self explanatory as you race it, so that nobody gets confused, lost, or cuts course... and hopefully nobody gets hurt.

 

I got word from whiteknuckle that there may not be a practice on Fri now so thatthe track will be in good shape for Sat. not to mention.a few people complainng about how they dont like people getting a practice.thats what is suppose to be unique about works. Its the NOT knowing that makes the race so challenging..Unless something changed there may not a be a practice...... I need to check to see if theres a womens class this round too!!!!

i'm going to be running a 440ex, and a 450r, any suggestion on jetting, and what are the elevations like

and whats the track like...

 

The Elevation is about 2800 I run a 175-178 in my 426 have you seen pics of the track yet??? IUts on whiteknuckles Web site..... Its a motorcross track then off to trails with a little rock,very dry talky like dirt in spots its twisty and some narrow spots on the trails, there was one spot where you drop off into a revene(sp?) but Im not sure if they are gonna use that as part of the course, they said they were before, but ya never know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Right off the Launch pad its a hillclimb and its all sand then off to the trails you go,when you loop around you hit the MX track and a hillclimb which is pictured on there website.......Make sure you have your skid plate[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

is there any place i can ride around and get my jetting where i want it

 

Im thinking not there......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] maybe depending on what day you arrive, you can mabye dial it in at somewhere close by ??
