Default shocks???

hey i bought shocks for my fourhweeler and i put them on the bike i was wondering is there something wrong with them?? when i pres down on the front of the bike they go down and they come up really slow! is this normal they are 450r shocks with softer springs put on them.... for a 400ex i have +3 A-arms.... so will that make a difference? they feel really really good when i ride the bike suck up the bimps really well so is this normal??

adjust the rebound dampning screw and this will make the come up faster or slower depending on how you set it.
