Default need advise buying a 1989 Suzuki LT500R

I ran into a crazy deal, a 89 lt500r for 2000$Can. the bike is in great condition.from 1 to 10 it is a 8. it has brand new plastic and tires and the engine was completly rebuilt.Would it be a good investment to pick this up
Does anyone know the value of these bikes????Are there anythings I should look out for???

$2000 for a mint quadzilla is good. They did have some internal problems. Can't remember what they were.Wish I could tell ya more.
Hope you have a strong leg.Them things kick back really hard. What do you plan on doing with it?If you can start it,they are a good all around quad. They are alot more trail friendly compared to a banshee. They don't have a real peaky powerband.Good all around power.

were you serious when you said you picked one up for 2 grand? If its in the shape you say, you should feel real happy. You won't be sorry about the power, it will be a monster. If you really bought it for that, how did you do it? Nice, i just saw you said CAN. whats that US?
