The new rule book from AMA will not be printed till mid Dec and sent out in Jan to the clubs. They will be in the March issus of your AMA mag. There are some extra rules for the GNC. I have a copy of last years and the changes for the coming year. Is there anything special, maybe I can answer it for you? Are you planning on riding the GNC races this year? I will be at all of them.

I am planning on running the womens class, and need to know the regulations for size. I know that it is a 250 limit, does that mean that I could run a yz250 motor??

The rule book says that a 2-stroke has to be from 91-250cc and the 4-stroke from 91-400cc. The engine has to come from a quad or a single cyclinder motorcycle engine. Yes you can run a YZ250 or a YZ400F if you wanted. Have you been to any of the nationals before?

This will be my first year to do Nationals. And since the limit is 250..i can't run my banshee, but I just got sponsored by a big Yamaha dealer that is giving me a motor, and I want to try and put it in a 250r frame. Since the r frame is lighter. ANd I like the way they handle better.
