Which is better tuner cars or muscle cars,just wanted to see what everyone likes car wise, I like muscle cars like the nova,chevelle ss,camaros,mustangs,olds 442,dodge charger,buick grand national etc...

I'm helping my friend set up this 74 camaro for drag racing which he bought for $400 ,he added a chevy small block and sparco seats etc ,I installed the roll cage and the cowl hood and hood pins ,it should be done soon.

 

I use to beat my cousins car for him while he was in college...nice 79' firebird with a built 350...very fun!

Finally my friend and I got to go out to the track to drag race the camaro, first race was on monday it was the camaro vs a 72 chevelle ss we won that race , second race was the camaro vs a 99 mustang won that race too, third race was the camaro vs a 81 malibu wagon we lost, but the wagon was running nitrous.

 

I like both.

Can't replace the rumble and torque of a well built v8, but have to admire the power you can wring out of these little 4-bangers.

I also like the technology in the "tuner" cars, and like one guy posted ... vette ... tuneable musclecar ...

I watched a net vid the other day on a buick GN TT .. 1074RWHP [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] ... had the exhausts coming out of the front quarters just below the mirrors ... the spools were up out of the hood making it look like a rocket car [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
