Ok, well I'm 15, and want to start racing.
I've never looked into it a WHOLE lot, until recently.
First off, what are some of the leagues to race in. I know of AMA, and I don't believe there is a class for my age in GNCC...
So, secondly, I ride a 2003 Yamaha Blaster, what can/can't I change in the different leagues?
And the last 2 things, can someone define what exactly some of the different race types are, and when do most seasons start/finish?
Thanks.

The types are MX=motocross, XC=cross country, TT/EDT/Flat track=fast, lil jumps,etc. AX=arena cross (indoor mx).
The best news is that you have the correct machine for your age. The AMA/ATVA's "youth production" class is for blasters and 300ex's (I think the GNCC has it also). You must be 16 to race a bigger quad. Local non AMA/ATVA santioned races have different rules usually.
Your blaster is almost race ready, a tether (kill switch) is needed. Lights must be covered with duct tape.
Up here in NW PA, there is the CRA (competition riders of america), plus district races (look at ATVAonline.com) all over the state and other states.
Ride safe, have fun!
