mudeater500 dont bother with automatic racing bikes all u have is straight rpms with a 700 u know its hard on gas and their not all that fast but if ur going up against a piped yamaha warrior with a stock kfx 700 it will be either a close race of a good one but then yet what are u racing on and your weight
the warrior might catch up to u on top end u have bottom end advantage but if u are looking for a good racing bike look for a suzuki 250 r or the 500 r which is the quadzilla trust me one one in the dunes or anywhere with a stock atv will catch the 500r suzuki(Quadzilla)

mudeater500 I havent raced a warrior but I have raced a couple of 400ex with my kfx and I can jump them about 2 or three bike lengths off the line.We raced about a half a mile on pavement and they could never catch me.The top ends on the 400 and the 700 are probably about the same but the 700 will jump the 400 off the line.So I think you would probably beat the warrior because the 400 is faster than the warrior and if he only added a hmf pipe thats not going to give him much more power.BansheeGuy69 is right about the kfx being heavy and it is slower than all your bigger sport bikes like the raptor,DS650, and the 450s.I think their pretty fast but I wouldnt pick one to be racing with.I do like my 700 but I'm getting older and fatter and the 700 is a great sport bike for me.

If you've only ridden small utility bikes or maybe a stock blaster,warrior,etc.. then a raptor would probably seem like a rocket.
If you ride a heavily modified banshee, quadzilla,or even a built raptor then a stock raptor may seem slow.
It may seem slow to you bansheeguy, but it's way too much quad for a beginner.
Besides,no one can beat you.LOL!
