I was wondering if anyone knows of a website I could go to to find info on GNCC type racing in the listed states? Or if anyone could just give me some info here in the forum. I live near Gettysburg PA and would like to start GNCC racing. I found it kinda hard to get a search to bring anything up on this. Also, this might be a stupid question to some of you, but I'm kinda new to ATV racing so laugh if you want, just answer me after you get done with your chuckle. What is a hare scramble?

A Hare Scramble (that I used to run dirt bikes in many years ago) is a race over a course that is usually composed over a variety of terrain that may include part of a motocross track and some woods trails. I don't know if it is still this way or not, but at one point on the circuit you had to stop at a checkpoint and your number was recorded. This keeps track of the number of laps each rider has made. Placement is by position, number of laps completed and categorized by class. Most of the Hare Scrambles I rode in were 2 hours long, but there was one that was 4 hours in length...
