trx 450ex and trx 450r

Default trx 450ex and trx 450r

i was wondering what the difference was between the trx 450r and the trx 450ex. My buddys in school today had a argument about this one said the 450r was more of a racing style and the other said they were both the same i agree that they are both the same to but what do yall think

I've never heard of a 450EX.
FYI: Any 450 other than the TRX450R would be of a utility design.

There is not a 450EX. There is a 450R and a 400EX. The 450R is indeed faster and "is more of a racing bike". The 400EX is still pretty fast and is also good for racing but is reliable enough to ride endless trails.

Ur thinking of the 450r and the 450r (electric start) some ppl call them 450er. and they are the same but one has kick start and the other has elec start.

He was probably talking about a big bore 400ex, i know they make 440s for the 400ex and a 450 kit for the z400, maybe for the 400ex too
