I been riding atvs for over 10 years now, and i wanna get into mx racing. THe thing is idk how to get started racing wise. If you guys have any sugestions on were i can race in eatern pennsylvania and surrounding areas. If you have any other tips as to training or were to train or jumping id appriecate it. Thanks.

First thing you should do is join the AMA/ATVA and then you will know where all the races are and in what district you will be racing...... once you are an AMA/ATVA member you can hit any AMA sanctioned event.....or for that matter any local event that is not sanctioned too......
As far as training, best thing is to ask your local dealerships (or here) if anyone knows of a practice track you can use. From there it is all up to you, and how hard you want to work.

Good advise above.
Like mentioned, practise! And when you do try to race, don't try to win. Only thing to win at first is a trip to the hospital. I'd go out and follow ppl as much as possible to learn.
As far as your machine, get the safty stuff (nerfs/tether/riding gear) then go for suspension updates. Your motor is faster than the stock suspension will allow.
Of course you'll need MX tires/wheels. I prefer Maxxis for tires. I run DWT (douglas) wheels. Get beadlocks for the rear.
Most important thing...HAVE FUN!!

Ditto what everyone here says about safety and not looking to win in your first year. As for where to race near Eastern PA, check out Englishtown Raceway in NJ. They have an MX track there and they're running every weekend I've ever went to drags there. They do races and practice sessions.
