I race at our local tracks and have won a few races last year. A bunch of my friends are going to London, Ky for the pro weekend. Saturday is amature day and I was thinking about taking my quad. Can someone tell me a little about the competition in the past in the four stroke class. I ride a warrior with quite a few mods. I know its nothing like an R or EX but hey I can say I was there and raced on that track while all my friends where all my other friends are setting at the house. I am sure the 400 ex will run the show but is there a beginner class or anything like that or am I going to get down there and it all be like totally decked out 440's and stuff? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I will be down there also with my Moded warrior. They have 3 4 stroke classes-A,B, and C. The 400's do run the show, but hopefully, not this year. Most 440's run the 4 stroke pro-am that I have seen, or A. so, dont be worried about it. See ya down there.

yamracer,
You will want to race the C class, but I would definitely not call it a beginner class. The first National race I attended several years ago I was surprised at how trick the quads were and how fast the B and C classes were. I would bet the C class will have a few sandbaggers with all the mods but not near as many as the other classes. The London track is a very technical track that requires a lot of timing if you are going to double jump. Good luck.

I forgot to mention that the amatuer classes run on both days - Saturday and Sunday. The 1st moto will be on Sat. and the 2nd moto on Sun. so plan to stay both days if you are making the trip.

I must agree with others 400 are domanite there but if your warrior has the proper sup.mods it can and will go faster than stock 400ex's .
also there is pratice on fridaay if you can make that it is better for you.
