i have an lrd ignition on my 250r. and on high rpm in 4,5,6 gear it cuts out. i was wondering if any one else has this problem

sounds like a jettin prob to me

 

no it not the jetting it electrical

 

Check your woodruff key on your fly wheel first. Mine was sheared off, causing that type of problem.

 

Also make shure that you do not have any lose wire connections. If you can not find any and if you have the stock ignition try using it and see if it will work ok then. And your engine does not care (or know) what gear it is in (other than a harder load on it).
