Anyone here ever race the MX track at Camelback in West Virginia? I just moved here from the West coast and wanted some input. Thanx.

 

I've never raced there, but I've been there to watch. Seems like a pretty nice track, but it was early last summer when I was there, and I can't remember much about it. Me and my buddies go to Pyramid Valley all the time and watch. I race XC though, not MX.

 

Kevin, I just bought a house in Monongah. We will have to ride some time. The house is in mill fall run area. We just got back from riding the right of ways all the way to enterprise. Tons of great riding around here. My buddy races a 400EX in X/C also. He's in the Carolinas again this weekend for a GNCC. I know Camelback has a X/C course because he rides there alot. I don't know whether it's open to the public or not. I want to start racing the MX track there because it's AMA sanctioned. Pyramid Valley isn't. Anyway, shoot me an E-mail if you want to ride some time.

 

yeah, we definitely need to go riding some time. Me and my EX are both kind of beat up after a wreck at a race last Saturday, but we need to go some time before long. I got a buddy racing in South Carolina today too. We're supposed to be taking out the 4x4's on Monday to clear some trees on his practice track, so hopefully that will be another new place to ride before long. Also, Hardrock is a great place to go. We'll get a big ride goin sometime, and I'll let ya know.
