In a few weeks, I'll be racing my first hare scramble. I drive a 2014 Honda trx400ex and wanted to know how long I could go without filling up. When I trail ride I can go for a good 2-3 hours without having to fill up but everything I've read about hare scrambles says that I'll have to fill up at some point during the race. Can anybody provide some input on this?

 

On a local 1.5 hour race you shouldn't have to fill up, I never did with my yfz, but it wold be on fumes. The 250r would just run out usually around 10 minutes left if I didn't fill it. I have never seen a 400ex that couldn't make 90 minutes.
