You would think that if a company (Cannondale, check the web site)came out with a brand new performance quad and then offered to "sponsor" 25 racers (AMA license holders of course) for FREE at a national event for the day, giving them access to a free bike,a free jersey to keep and all the factory support they needed that there would be a line a mile long full of applicants. Instead of constantly ragging on new companies with new ideas(just because you can), why not take them up on this and give your regular mount a rest for the weekend and thrash theirs? This is called "putting your money where your mouth is"... Is it me, or does this seem like a no brainer? C'mon Guys (and girls)!!!!!!!

I just signed up. I may not be the best rider but it is worth a try at having a factory ride for one day.

It is probably a 2 or 2 1/2 hour drive from the border but it depends on where you will cross it. The race is held in Orrvile Ohio which is west of Canton Ohio.

I think it is www.cannondale.com. The name of the program is "Chain Gang".

I wish I could, that would be great! Did anyone read about the Cannondale coming in 3rd in one of the most recent races? (Not sure which one!) He came up through the pack twice in that race, the first time from dead last! That's pretty impressive! And his bike was mostly stock!!! It was racing with some seriously modified 400's, too. I wonder if it's that fuel injection? I would love to try one of those out!
