What kind of race are you doing? If its XC or Harescramble then you should pack lots of water (I dunno about mx, but probably a good idea there too) and a good toolbag w/ tireplugs, ect.

MOVE ON THE BIKE

want the hole shot?
.....find third...gas and let go........let the clutch do the work.....(4 stoke takes longer to get through the rpm range than 2 stroke)

pic ya lines.....don't loose ya cool...pressure causes mistakes.....

hold ya lines!!!!!!!

.....and you MUST always take the women to race day......

most of all have fun

I'm dead serious when i say this!!! a buddy of mine used to race MX, he told me that if you want to get better, and have the opportunity to do so, Ride the track backwards...opposite the flow of traffic....alone or with only a few people. i thought he was full of it, but it really works!!!! try it if you get a chance!

jsut go out there and get a feel for it, dont worry about everyone else, ifyou get dead last, so what, get a feelfor the track adn the way the bike acts, then at the next race, pick it up a little, and every race geta little mroe aggressive, you'll be fine
