I was wanting to buy some aftermarket wheel spacers for my quad and was wondering if anyone has an opinion ,good or bad, on these.I would like a wider stance but dont want to drop the cash for A-arms or an axle.

Wheel spacers on the front are a bad idea. They put too much stress on the spindals and ball joints. A-arms are the only good way to go. SRE Industries can extend stock arms for a good price(about $150, not sure though).
On the back they are good provided you aren't launching you atv 10+ ft. in the air. Anything up to about 8 ft up is ok. When you come down from too high up, the axle will bend from the added stress.

I am in the same scenario as you. I don't have the cash for a-arms. I have been running spacers in the rear for about six months now and haven't had any problems, and plan to keep running them until I bend my axle. Up front I bought a set of offset rims. That widened the stance of my bike by about 2 inches, which helps out. If you are still running stock rims, you can turn your fronts inside out. You might have to change the location of your valve stem, but thats not too much trouble.
