$3000 to win pro quad event (so i hear-was $2000 last year).

Look to see alot of pros there.

You're wrong. There is a $3000 pro-purse. The winner will get about $900. I know Tim Farr will not be there, he is injured. There are a lot of local pros that call Fox "home" so there will be some awesome racing. Buddy Joe colleneskie(sp), Matt White, John Winkelbaurer(sp), Dave Diver, Josh Pangallo. Will all be there. Those guys know Fox like the back of their hands.

 

Man, what a sad turn out that was for the Pro's on Sunday!!!!!

 

Who won?

 

We left before the race was over Sunday... But Ben Jackson was leading by a considerable amount with Dave Diver about 8 bike lengths behind him and Ben seemed to keep pulling a little bit each lap...

 

Farr injured eh,,,I heard that he was racing his sprint car [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Ben Jackson ended up winning that moto also. The battle for second was a photo finish. I believe that it was Diver and White side by side to the checkers. It was alot of fun to watch. Ya it could have been better but for a small race track tucked in the middle of nowhere in PA, I was pretty happy with the racing. I know that those not so well known pros are one hell of alot faster than I could ever dream about being. HEHE.

I took a video of both pro motos, some of the other quads, and of a local boy(Billy Meyers). Man is that Meyers ever fast! It was a good day to just sit and watch some racing.

Last race of the year there is on 10/13/01 and it's a night race. Should be cool.
