Is anyone else racing amateur this year on the AMA Circut. Im kinda nervous and would like somebody at my level to talk to about the races and stuff. Thanks.

 

Where can you race in Wisconsin? I actually live in Michigan but I lived in Wisconsin for 18 of my 20 years. I would like to get there this summer for some races but I don't know where they are. Is there a website or phone number to get info on the Wisconsin series?

 

Go to ama-cycle.com, then click on GO RACE on the side frame. Then Click RACE SCHUEDULES AND RESULTS on the far right side of the page. Then Click Races, Rides & Rallies database. Its in the first paragraph. Then choose your state, event, and Amateur or Pro, then submit and itll come up all the events on the top of the page, get it????

This year in Lake Geneva in Wisconsin they are racing Mx on the dirtbike track on Lake Geneva Raceway

 

I had already checked the AMA website before I made my last post but all the MX races seem to be in Northern Wisconsin. I don't want to travel that far. I know that they raced in the stadium in Lake Geneva last year, but I can't find the info for those races. If someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

 

I live 30 miles south of Green Bay so i too decided not to attend the races far away and hence, not compete for points this year, ill get the hang of it first. Anyway, Some tracks around here are, Denmark which is a really popular track, its DB's and ATV's so there are some pretty large jumps; Tigerton, which isn't AMA sanctioned but is an awesome track to race at. Its not so much of a wide open, brake, wide open track, its more of a judge the size of the jump with your speed, clutch work and endurance. Its my fav.; Then there is the Fox Valley Greyhound Park in Kaukauna which was converted from a Greyhound track to a Snow Cross/Moto Cross stadium type track which is fun because its 5 min. from my house and its kind of just a fun track to race at. I dont know if that one is AMA sanctioned or not. Hope i helped, anymore questions? Have a good one!
