COMP and HELAN,
I raced Helan once and went to practice onece. When the bikes where coming up on me I would pull over to let them pass, than they would roost me, most on purpose, some by mistake. I didn't like it there, and the one time I raced there it was so rough I had arm pump half way around and couldn't clucth anymore.
I went with WP to a practice at Comp it looked good, enough area to ride and the bikes left you alone for the most part.
Can't wait to get my quad back and go. I'm up for the three race eries at Helans. ARE YOU?

I'm up for it smitty. I'm up for going and watching. LOL Raptors are not made for motocross. And my body is not made for it either. I guess thats why me and my Raptor are such a good fit. I'll be at all 3 races though. Let me know your numbers and I'll root for ya.

They roosted you because you moved. I will do the same sometimes if someone keeps getting in the way. Hold your line when you ride because the guy that is going to pass you has already made a plan on how to get by you. When you move you go right into his path he was going to use. That is how most accidents happen at the track. That guy had is mind working on a pass before you even saw him or heard him coming.

I'll agree with holding your line. My nephews first attempt at practicing on the track at Glen helen ended in a crash on the second lap. He came off a jump, still feeling out the track. Didn't jump high but landed on his rear wheel off balance a little. It took him to the right and, SMACK. The guy behind him, moving up fast, slammed into his rear wheel and they both went down. Rolling several times, them, not their bikes. A little damage to their bikes and bodys. Gotta hold your line.

Good info on holding a line I understand that. But that isn't excatly what was going on. I was riding on the far right hand side of the track giving them lots of room to go around. Once they got around they would kick the back end out and spray me. If I was faster than I wouldn't have that problem.LOL

I should have it back this week, Friday. They couldn't come up with a 93mm piston. So Harry just port and polished the head. They should have it running tonight. I have stop there in the morning to talk about my Tail Lights they are being machined now and should be ready to ship in the next week. SO that's a good thing. I hope that he will DYNO it and let me know the flow of the head now.
