Does anybody know what happened to Ben Jackson and the NACS team? I know he had a wrist injury before the season started and he rode a couple of races, but then I heard nothing.

The news around the pits were that after he raced a moto he could not fill his legs due to a back injury he had in the past. I dont know this for sure, but I heard he was not going to race anymore. But like I said I dont know that for sure. I do know that he will not be with the Nac's/Cannondale team next year if he does come back.

 

I heard something similar to what Mrp said about the back problem and I also he won't be on a cannondale anymore. I saw him in early August at a local fair race on his 250r tearing up the competition in the pro and 2-stroke class, so I think the back is feeling better and I won't be surprised to see him back on a R next season.

 

Damn that's too bad. I raced with him a few times over at Kenworthys MotoX park and Jackson Ohio a few times. Always friendly and willing to lend a hand. I bought one of his 4 stroke practice quads a few years back. I know about back issues. My left leg started to go knumb when I was working out back when I was racing. I had it checked and they found I had a vertebrae in my lower back that was broken in two places and my spine was shifting and bumping into the spinal cord. Here I was racing with a broken back. Oh well it wasn't as bad as it sounds.

Benny is such a great guy (his dad also). After watching him,I really don't think he has been as fast as when he ran TC motors tho. Maybe it's an illusion [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

At the awards banquet they said he will not be racing anymore due to injuries. It sucks to lose such a talented rider such as Ben Jackson.

For those that don't know,the GNC banquet has been an awsome night out! With great door prizes,and prizes for the award winners.
