Sounds like I missed a lot of action. Dumont was great but very windy. Made for virgin dunes almost the whole time but windy. Did i say it was windy? See you guys at the next race.

 

Even if you were there..wshrdskin..you still would've had the wind. Track was rough..wind was cold and strong..so much dust, almost like a desert race... wind was hitting racers straight on coming over the finish line table...It was still a good time. Anyone gonna race Adelanto? (Feb. 23)

 

im puttin on my 23" XCT's for WORCS GP at glen helen next weekend, and gonna leave thme on for king of the desert 15th and adelanto on the 23rd

 

surfer...what size tires do you run at ITP?? I run my 23" XCT's on my Raptor, but that seems to be a big disadvantage. I noticed a lot of quads had MX tires. I'm gonna get a new set for next race.

 

Run 20" mx's up front and 18" mx's in the rear. I would go with an 8" rear rim to add comfort because the track is so rough.

 

psycho it is a big disadvantage i raced last year with them, and they were impossible to turn with compared to the holeshot MX's, i run 20x7-10 front and 18x10-8 out back MUCH BETTER! but would still rather have 20's out back on a more whoop out track like the one we raced on this past weekend

 

Thanx for the info guys...My cornering is the biggest set back I have, so I guess its time to go shopping. I'm going down to practice Thursday and bring the wife along. I want her to video my ride to see what else I need to work on. I really need to work on that step-up. I jump it, but can't quite clear it.
