17 DAYS AND COUNTING TILL SANDFEST LS, OKLAHOMA
#3
You might be surprised at the turnout this year. Or the lack thereof, I should say. I just talked to my friend Chuck yesterday, and he said there were about 1/3 the normal amount of riders out there for Labor Day. He should know, he's been there for every major weekend for over ten years because he owns and operates Little Sahara ATV. My only thought is that the price of gas scared a lot of people away. Even if I were home, I wouldn't go because I don't like Don (from LSPS, not Don Miller), but I won't get into that because I have nothing good to say about him or his crew.

69, Everytime I look at your pics and see me sidehilling the old Zilla I get a little teary eyed......I shoulda never sold that one! Anyway, there will be another. BTW, did I read your letter in Dirt Wheels this month? How many guys from Waynoka can there be that love Zilla's? When you get back to the states we will definately have to go throw some sand.
