How good of a sales person do you have to be to get sponsors for a beginner rider with a short resume? Is it worth even trying untill one gets trophies under his belt? Do those trophies have to be 1st place ones? If I could just find someone to pay my entry fees I would tatto their names on my @$$. I know it will take alot in the hard timesa to get people or businesses to part with their hard earned money but, by golly give a blue collar middle aged man a chance to fulfill his damn dream!

Look Kooch the main thing sponsers look for is commitment. I hate to say it but try to start a working relationship with a dealer or two not just your local Yamaha dealer but someone that can completly serve your whole quad needs. If you can not commit to a dealer why should they help you?
That is the biggest problem in this cut throte bussiness is racers wanting something for free and not giving anything back. This brings me to my next point when you find a dealer you like and trust send people to them and tell them to say you sent them there after someone heres your name ehough they will help. I know this from experience i now have 28 sponsers for a race team for the 2003 season.

this is only my second full year and I signed up for that sponsorhouse.com thing, and I now have like 7 sponsors for next season. It's like $49 a year and u make your own resume and cover letter and submit it to companies. I've attracted good sponsors like EVS, Engine Ice, Scott USA, etc, the key is to use good writing skills and it helps to have some good acomplishments and high goals for yourself too!
